Songs That Make Me Feel Mushy Part 2
I already blogged about this before and I decided to do it once more. There’s just too much love songs around to make you feel mushy!
Vulnerable by Secondhand Serenade
I was born to tell you I love you
Isn’t that a song already?
I get a B in originality
And it’s true I cant go on without you
Your smile makes me see clearer
The Ice is Getting Thinner by Death Cab for Cutie
We’re not the same dear as we used to be
The seasons have changed and so have we
There’s little we can say and even less than we can do
To stop the ice from getting thinner under me and you
Realize by Colbie Caillat
If you just realized what I just realized
Then we’d be perfect for each other
And we’d never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We’d never have to wonder if we missed out on each other now.
How to Save A Life by The Fray
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Dig by Incubus
If I turn into another
Dig me up from under what is covering the better part of me
Sing this song
Remind me that we’ll always have each other
When everything else is gone.
oh wow, I love Vulnerable, Realize, and How to Save A Life.
August 6th, 2008 at 9:12 pmthey’re so awesome, Colbie Caillat is awesome
All DCFC songs make me mushy. They’re all so beautiful. =]
August 6th, 2008 at 11:36 pmI just realized we have very similar tastes in music. I love Secondhand Serenade, but it’s not just Vulnerable that make me sad. Every song on both of their albums is sad. I can’t imagine making an entire album depressing songs.
August 7th, 2008 at 1:51 amHey! This post is similar to the one I just wrote, and I hadn’t visited your blog yet
Anyway! As far as love songs go, I only have one thing to say:
Leonard Cohen - I’m Your Man
“Ah but a man never got a woman back
Not by begging on his knees
Or I’d crawl to you baby
And I’d fall at your feet
And I’d howl at your beauty
Like a dog in heat
And I’d claw at your heart
And I’d tear at your sheet
I’d say please, please
I’m your man”

August 8th, 2008 at 11:33 amGlad you liked Vulnerable.
These songs make things more mushy when you have a significant other to think about while hearing these songs. <3
August 8th, 2008 at 2:05 pmOh, I only know one of those songs, the DCFC one, though I’m pretty sure I’ve heard How to Save a Life *ponders* Mind if I steal this idea?
