Upon opening Thunderbird today, I was greeted by 269 new messages. I was thinking, “Oh no! Did Gmail failed to filter spam messages?! Not them!!!” (this incident happened to Yahoo Mail which is why I stopped using it). Freezing Firefox, I understand, but letting spam pass through?! That I do not! But then, after Thunderbird downloaded all 269 messages, I saw that some of my really old mail, has been marked as unread. That of course, was a relief. However, there was one spam message on my inbox which made me worry a little bit but I think everything’s been fixed now.
Anyway, has anyone heard of Woopra (Alex, I know you did. I heard it from you
)? It seems pretty impressive and pretty similar to Mint and Reinvigorate and that said, it intimidates me; it makes me want to try it. However, if anyone else has used it and had some problems with it, I definitely won’t be using it.
ETA: In less than 24 hours, I’ve been approved at Woopra! w00t!

Just yesterday, I was checking how my stats were doing. Everything seems to be fine when I noticed that my subscriber count was way above its count the last time I checked (and by the way, if you’re one of them, thank you
). Then, the thought hit me: is subscribing to feeds really that great? I mean, I spend time making sure my feed is accessible to everyone even though I have no knowledge on how it is being utilized whatsoever by the subscribers. As a result of that thought, I decided to give feed subscribing a try.
First, I signed up for NewsGator’s online feed reader service and I subscribed to some of the blogs that I usually visit and lurk. I played around with it for a couple of minutes and then, without noticing it, I was suddenly hooked. Now, I already started adding all of the blogs that I either visit or lurk. Bottom line is: I’m feeding and loving it.
How about you guys? Do you subscribe to your favorite blogs? If yes, what feed reader do you use?

Just as I promised in the last entry (I am so getting used to this SEO things), I am done tweaking the new theme I was talking about. What do you guys think about it? It’s quite image heavy compared to my previous theme since the navigation uses image rollovers but I bet you’ll be fine.
Moving on, school is starting 2 days from now. I am so excited to see my friends at school because I haven’t seen any of them since we had a farewell party months ago. *dances* Let’s just hope that I don’t get too busy to neglect this blog…
