Have you guys ever wanted something so much it hurts? Have you guys had it for so much stuff at the same time?
This seems to be life for me nowadays. Being a teenager, it is expected of me to change. Having spent a significant amount of my life watching “coming of age” shows and movies, I thought I had my teenage years by the balls. Boy, was I wrong.
As I was dressing up one morning, I noticed the back and side piles of my closet, which my nanny did so “I wouldn’t have to rummage for clothes again.” I’ve always seen these piles, but never really noticed. Curiosity overwhelmed me so I decided to poke through the piles. What I saw made me nauseated, embarrassed or suicidal.
These are the clothes (tops particularly) which I bought about three to two years ago. You know how when we were 13 we thought that plain shirts looked cheap and that massive prints are the way to go? No? Well, I did. (It’s really ironic cause the clothes I wear nowadays are mostly plain ones.) Looking away from these godawful pieces, I then shift my attention to the front pile, where all the clothes that fit into my current style lies: v-necks, round-necks, black, white, gray, colorsplash.
I then make a mental list in my mind of all the things I would want fashion-wise, and I realize that I have quite a big list. Not that it would no longer fit into my closet if I buy all of them. No. It’s just big enough for me not to be able to buy them all in one sitting.
So, sharing my list with you, in case you guys would want to lessen it were curious as to what I could possibly want this time:
- A denim shirt or a denim jacket (either one will do)
- A sailor shirt
- A red plaid shirt (I don’t get how I still don’t have one. I swear I bought one a couple of months ago)
- A couple more v-necks (so I can make a rainbow with all the different colors I have)
- A gray scarf (I’ve been seeing a lot, but nothing that tickles my fancy)
- A couple more pairs of jeans
- A straw fedora
- A handful of long-sleeved shirts (I never bought them before because of the excruciating heat)
- A gray cardigan (see comment above)
So far, I think that’s it. The problem with mental lists is that you sometimes forget an item or two. What about you guys, are you guys wanting anything at the moment?

I’m having this trouble recently where an obvious spam comment (the name, the email, the URL, the EVERYTHING) is being let through. This is quite bothering for me because I’ve been using WordPress with Akismet since I started blogging (well, almost; I went through the Cutenews phase, you see) and this has never happened to me before.
The comments are left on an old entry and is about the general idea of the post, but not really related to what’s written in the post. (Like I wrote about how I love coffee shops and they’ll go say coffee makes them puke, you guys get the idea.)
So, to all WordPress (with Akismet) users, has this been happening to you too?

What’s with me and pain lately? As my previous post mentioned, my jaw locked for 6 hours and I had to be rushed to the hospital. And now, I need to get three of my wisdom teeth pulled out. (I already had one pulled out last week.)
Honestly, I was expecting the worst when the dentist told me I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. I heard really horrifying stories about the process and the pain that goes along with it. Before my dentist was about to yank my teeth out of my poor gums, I asked her if I would be able to speak after she’s done the operation (as this is what I see in TV) and she told me it’s going to be difficult to and that I should rest. Ok, there goes two of meetings.
After about 15 minutes of needle-poking, yanking and God-knows-what-else, the dentist proudly announced it was done. I was like “Oh rly?” I didn’t really feel any pain. I was expecting something like Texas Chainsaw Massacre pain and was grasping my phone the entire time, ready to call my friend for my last goodbyes and instructions in case I don’t make it through.
But, that was it. There was really nothing left to it. I went home and rested. I took my medicines (I was really keen on what time I was taking the painkillers cause I was afraid if I miss it by a minute, a man with a chainsaw would jump out and attack me) and basically waited for the worse. But, there was nothing. I took painkillers about twice when I realized there was no pain at all and I should stop before I get addicted.
I’m returning to the dentsit soon to get my 2nd wisdom tooth extracted (and then two more after that) and I hope it goes as smoothly as the first one.
On a completely unrelated note, I realized I’m mostly babbling my way through my blog entries now and I’m not sure if that’s good…
