I Just Lost A Dear Friend
A couple of days ago, I lost, yes, lost, my very dear friend called Moe. Moe was sleek, thin, small and black. He was a third gen iPod nano. It’s been merely six months since I first had him and even though I wounded him quite often, he is still very dear to me. But now, he’s gone!
(
Moe was one of my companions to all that happened to me between the months of December to June. The school fair, the christmas party, the last day of my friend before he migrated to Canada, the farewell party. He was also the witness to everything that happened to me. The days wherein I feel like the world is crushing down on me, the days wherein I feel like I’ll melt in my shoes because of some teenage infatuation, my obsession for Chuck Bass and Ed Westwick. But I guess, due to my unspeakable stupidity, he’s gone.

aw
( I would hate losing my iPod, and I know how you feel about this… I lost my iPod once before (I found it though) and it pierced my heart.
Like iPhone! So you can call’em when they’re lost!
Give your next iPod a phone.

iPods are so small that there’s always the danger of losing them. I know that I’ve “lost” mine several times and theyve always turned up after a good search. Just think of the places where you usually leave Moe and check them. Then check the places where you think you *might* have left Moe. You might be surprised.

I feel your pain! I brought my iPod touch to school one day and left it in my backpack. An hour later when I wanted to listen to it, my iPod touch wasn’t their! SOMEONE STOLE IT!!!! I’ll never forget my dear iPod, Mikey.

When I saw this on Snark, I thought you were talking about a real person! I was ready to shed tears for you and offer you a shoulder to cry on.
I would hate losing my own iPod. All my movies and music are on there. I’d be heartbroken if it died.

Amen to Alex. I’ve had Hugo (my iPod) for 2 years now and I’d go nuts if something happened to it. I’m really sorry to hear about your iPod though..it feels so unpleasant knowing you’ve lost a daily companion of a gadget. But maybe this one opens doors to newer possibilities? Like an iPod touch or iPhone perhaps? Hehe..

Moe?!? Well that’s certainly a unique name for an iPod. =P Mind you, I did name mine Elliot.. but that was within reason. xD
I’m so sorry you lost your love. I hope he comes scuttling back to you soon enough. ^_^ I don’t know what I’d do without mine.. it is like a companion to me. Dearest Elliot. *grin*

I’m so careful with mine.
There are some things I don’t pay much attention to, but my two iPods (Paulie and Cera
) were/are taken care of very well.

Ooh, this happened to my brother once.
We searched for it for months and months!
Then one day, after he had moved away to Calgary (basically across Canada from me), my mom and I went and got the van cleaned and vaccuumed at the car wash.
As we were driving away, we noticed there was an iPod on the console, and my mom said, “Oh no ! One of them left their iPod!”. Upon closer examination, it was my brother’s! The cleaners must have found it somewhere inside the van while cleaning it. We were so surprised ! My brother was estatic though, it had been almost half a year !!

as in… did he break? or did you just lose him?
my old ipod (i dunno what generation it was… the first color one, before the video) just finally died recently, as in broke, after i had it for… about 3 years, which was i guess was pretty good for that model. but now i’m ipodless as well and even though i didn’t use it much, it’s always after you don’t have it that you really want to use it. lol. i desperately need a new one… ergh.
