Pancakes

The perfect, homemade, fluffy pancakes!

Ingredients

2 c all purose flour
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
2 c sour cream
4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
butter

Procedure

  1. Mix flour, 1/8 cup sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add sour cream, egg yolks and vanilla to the batter and whisk until smooth.
  3. Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites and the remaining sugar until foamy.
  4. Fold the egg whites mixture into the the batter.
  5. Melt butter on the griddle and cook pancakes until golden brown.
