Pancakes
The perfect, homemade, fluffy pancakes!
Ingredients
2 c all purose flour
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
2 c sour cream
4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
butter
Procedure
- Mix flour, 1/8 cup sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add sour cream, egg yolks and vanilla to the batter and whisk until smooth.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites and the remaining sugar until foamy.
- Fold the egg whites mixture into the the batter.
- Melt butter on the griddle and cook pancakes until golden brown.
