Earth Day — What Have You Done?
Today is Earth Day, and my question is: have you done anything in particular to save the Earth?
Today, I didn’t do much, but that was mainly because I wasn’t hope for the most part of the day. The only thing I remember doing today is not using the fan for a couple of hours since I was freezing to death. I did, however, save the Earth in my own little ways during the year. Aside from the cliche turning-off-of-appliances while-not-at-use and conserving water, we also use energy saving lights (although I don’t really know how exactly these bulbs save energy, but that’s what it says) and a CFC-free refrigerator. And since plastics aren’t banned in the Philippines, my family and I recycle the plastic bags and bottles we get.
Again, have you done anything in particular to save the Earth?
PS: Please pardon this lame excuse of a blog. In case you’re wondering Facebook, Twitter and one of my many summer activites is taking up my time. I’ll try to blog more often, promise.

I spent my day writing all the papers due very soon. I couldn’t afford to switch off my computer for even a minute. :/

Hehe, yeah, we use those light bulbs too. We have a lot of energy-saving appliances, or so they say… LOL.
LOL about Twitter and Facebook taking up your time! Facebook takes up a bit of my time too. =P

I honestly admit that I hadn’t done anything that day to save the earth.
Twitter takes up quite a lot of my time but I don’t really use fb though so…

I didn’t do anything on Earth Day that I don’t normally do. We turn down the heat when we leave the house, use cold water to do laundry, etc regularly anyway.
