The 90’s: TV Shows

Posted on April 26, 2008 2:04 pm

This is the second (and perhaps the last) part of my blogging about thing I miss about the 90’s. The first part talks about the music of the 90’s and it lists the singers/bands of the 90’s that I miss. The same goes for this part except that I would be listing TV shows, not singers/bands.

  • Frasier - I watched a couple of episodes of Cheers online but Frasier is so much better for me (FYI, Frasier was a spin-off from Cheers)
  • Full House - I remember watching this TV show when I was young with my aunt. Back then, I already liked it. :)
  • Clarissa Explains It All - Before there was Lizzie McGuire, there was Clarissa. How I love this show!
  • Sabrina,The Teenage Witch - This is another TV show starring Melissa Joan Hart. I love the Sabrina-Harvey love team! ♥
  • Are You Afraid of the Dark? - Looking back now, I realize that it wasn’t that scary but if you’re a naive 3 year old guy, it’s enough to give you goosebumps.
  • Friends - Yes guys, I saved the best for last! I cannot put into words how much I love this series! Don’t you just all love the bunch? *sings* I’ll be there for yoooouuuu

The ’90s: Music

Posted on April 19, 2008 2:11 pm

I am a ’90s baby and proud of it. However, I am quite disappointed because I was still very young back then and I didn’t appreciate much of the good things that was happening around. Looking back now, I see a lot of things that I missed out on and how I wish I could turn back time and enjoy those things.

One of those “things” is music. Here is a list of artists you don’t wanna miss on your ’90s Music playlist.

  • Britney Spears - I miss the old naive Britney who had panties on! I mean, I still like her latest album but nothing compares to old school Britney dancing around in private school uniform.
  • Spice Girls - Who didn’t catch the Spice Girls phenomenon?
  • Oasis - One of my favorite rock bands of all time. I love them! *sings* And after aaaaall, you’re my wonderwaaaaaaaall.
  • N*Sync - Afro or bald, JT would always be a sensation to me. However, I didn’t know back then that he would be hot. :(
  • Westlife - When I was listening to them back then, I had joy, I had fun, I had seasons in the sun.
  • Backstreet Boys - I bet that the teens of the 90’s, especially the girls, used their songs as soundtracks to the imaginary love stories they invent on the phone.

How about you guys? What do you miss about the 90’s music?
